We use your number to call you back. That's it.

What we collect

There is exactly one place on this website where you can hand us information: the callback form on the home page and on the contact page. It asks for four things.

• Your name — so we know who to ask for when we call.
• Your phone number — so we can call you.
• What you need — lockout, car key, rekey, commercial, or something else.
• Where you are — a street, a landmark, or which end of 98, so we know how long it takes to reach you and what to bring.

That is the complete list. We do not ask for an email address, a date of birth, an account, a password, or a payment card on this website. If a field is not on that form, we did not collect it.

What we do with it

We call you back about your job. That is the only purpose. The information you type into that form is used to contact you, to figure out what tools and key blanks to load in the truck, and to do the work you asked for. Once the job is done, the record exists only so we can find your history if you call us again — for example, so we know which lock we already rekeyed for you.

What we never do with it

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to a lead broker. We do not put you on a marketing list, and we will not text you offers. We are not a dispatch network, so your name and address never get auctioned to a third-party contractor the way they do when you call a national call center. Nobody buys this data from us because we do not sell it, to anyone, for any price.

The only situations where your information would leave our hands are the ordinary ones: if we are legally required to produce it (a court order, a lawful request from law enforcement), or where a service provider we use to run the phone or the website necessarily handles it in order to do that job — a phone carrier connecting your call, for instance. Those providers process it on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Phone calls

Calls to (850) 949-0053 may be logged and recorded for callback and quality purposes. That means we keep a record that you called, the number you called from, and in some cases the audio of the call, so we can call you back if the line drops, confirm what was said about the job, and make sure our people are giving you straight answers. If you would rather not be recorded, say so at the start of the call and we will note it. Call records are used for those purposes and no other; they are not shared or sold.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not run advertising, so there are no ad networks, no retargeting pixels, and no third-party trackers following you off this website to somewhere else. There are no ad cookies here at all.

Like nearly every website, our web server keeps standard access logs — the pages requested, the time, the browser type, and the IP address the request came from. That is how any web server works and it is how we can tell whether the site is up and whether a page is broken. If we use a basic, privacy-respecting analytics measure to count visits to a page, it is for that purpose only: to know which pages people actually read. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not attempt to identify you personally from a page view.

How long we keep things

Callback requests and job records are kept while they are useful for servicing you — long enough to complete the job, stand behind the work, and recognize you if you call again — and then they go. Server logs age out on the ordinary schedule of the hosting they run on. We do not keep records forever as a matter of principle; a locksmith holding a permanent database of who has which locks is a liability to the customer, not a service to them.

Security, and the part that matters most

Information about your locks is sensitive in a way most business data is not. We treat it that way. Key codes, access details, and what hardware is on your door are not discussed with anyone but the verified owner of the property. This is the same principle behind the ID and proof-of-ownership check described in our terms: the verification is not a formality, it is the whole point.

Children

This site is a locksmith's website for the general public. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Your choices

You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (850) 949-0053 and ask. If you never fill in the form and never call, we have nothing about you at all, and browsing the pages about lockouts, rekeys, or the service area costs you nothing but a line in a server log.

Changes to this policy

If we change how any of this works, we will change this page. There is no version of this policy in which we start selling your information — that is not a promise we intend to revise.
